Conformance status
At Airizon, we are determined to promote an inclusive culture that allows each individual to thrive. We reference and are committed to meet the level AA standards from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 .
Presently, Airizon’s website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We’re striving to close any remaining gaps by updating the platform and collaborating with accessibility experts to make the website more accessible. There’s still work to be done, and we’ll keep this page updated as we make progress
Additional accessibility considerations
Although our goal is WCAG 2.2 level AA conformance, we have also applied some level AAA Success Criteria: ARIA is used, where appropriate, to enhance HTML, to better identify the purpose of interface components. Region and landmarks are used to identify page regions. Contrast is enhanced. Visual presentation is enhanced. Text is used within images only for decoration OR when information cannot be presented with text alone. Content has no time limits or constraints and activity doesn’t lose data with updates. The website doesn’t have a complex structure. There are no flashes. The purpose of each link can be determined by text alone, and there are no links with the same text that go to different locations. Headings are used appropriately. Target size is at least 44px and content does not require a specific inputtype. Cognitive function tests are not required for any step of the authentication process.
Accessibility features on our website
We use a number of features meant to make our website easier to navigate and read for everyone, using WCAG 2.2 as a guide:
- Appropriate text alternatives for any nontext contents are provided. To improve navigation, images that do not convey content are skippable.
- Each page on this site has semantic regions for the headings, regions/landmarks, navigation, main content and footer. ARIA is used, when appropriate, to enhance the experience.
- Each section follows logical order in navigation, from h1 to h6.
- Design elements and content have improved color contrast and navigability.
- We did our best to give the users the least cognitive load possible, by optimizing visual presentation of the information.
Future improvements
Airizon is constantly evolving, and so is our commitment to accessibility. We are working diligently to develop increasingly accessible and inclusive solutions for people with disabilities, and we intend to actively collaborate with the community to identify and address challenges that may arise.The following are planned future improvements:
- Improve the alternative text of some elements, to help user experience;
- Enhance readability by allowing the user to zoom in and out the page without any issues. We also want to allow the user to choose the combination of colors which better suits their readability needs.
- Text spacing could be improved for legibility.
- If we add any audio or video, to implement and optimize accessibility for these too.
We’ll continue updating this page as we improve the platform.
